What is SCOUT?
Scout inflatables are a personal watercraft that takes all the best parts of a boat and a kayak and blends them into one craft. They are extremely stable, ultra portable, and easy to use. All models can be powered by gas or electric motors and perfect for anglers and boaters of all experience levels. They are a blank canvas to build your own custom fishing boat. With no need for a trailer or roof racks, the whole setup can easily fit in the boot of your car. Scout inflatables currently come in two sizes: The 430 model is 14′ / 600lb capacity and the 365 model is 12′ with a 500lb capacity. Either boat comfortably transports gear and 1 or 2 anglers. The transom supports up to a 5hp 4 stroke engine but the boats are light enough to be powered by a 40lb thrust electric trolling motor.
On a weekly basis, I use my Scout Inflatables to fish all over Southern California giving me easy access to bays, lakes and nearshore destinations that I would normally need a fiberglass boat and trailer to access. In addition to my own personal pursuits, I offer guided rentals using the Scout inflatables all over Southern California. That Being said, I am the regional point of contact for all things Scout in Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire north of San Diego County.
