For obvious reasons, I postponed this years trip to the flats fishing paradise in Xcalak, Mexico. As a group, my traveling companions and I decided that it was best to put this trip off for another year. The lodge at Tierra Maya has just opened up again and is taking guests that can make their way down. This week’s reports from the Lodge told stories of multiple grand slams and good weather. As I sift through last year’s photo reel, my heartbeat starts to elevate and I cant wait to get back.

As of now, I have a group of great folks that are patiently waiting to have the experience for the first time . Now that we have decided to postpone our trip, we also have space for a few more. A small refundable deposit to the lodge will hold your spot. Once the pandemic is under control and it is safe to travel, it is expected that the calendar at Tierra Maya will fill up fast.
