Come wade the warm, tropical flats of Xcalak in search of Permit, Jacks, Bonefish and juvenile Tarpon from the quaint fly fishing village of Xcalak, Mexico. Bring your gear, your fly box, your sunscreen, your best double-haul cast and your sense of adventure for an amazing time at one of my favorite places to fly fish.
Trip Dates: June 4th-11th 2022
Location: Hotel Tierra Maya, Xcalak Mexico
Itinerary:
- Day 1 – June 3rd – Arrive in Cancun Mexico
- Day 2 – June 4th – AM shuttle pickup at the Courtyard Marriott Cancun – Stop in Tulum for lunch – Arrive at Tierra Maya approximately 3:30pm that afternoon.
- Day 3 – 7 June 5th- June 10th – Guided fishing on the flats of Tierra Maya
- Day 8 – June 11, Depart for Cancun after breakfast and then home from there.
Cost $3800 PP / DBL OCC
What Is Included:
- Ground transfers to and from the lodge CUN / Xcalak
- 7 nights / 6 days guided fishing – 2 anglers to a room and skiff – You can have you own room for an additional cost. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with AC, large windows and screen doors that face the ocean. There is WIFI in the bar and 24 hour power for the lodge.
- Daily breakfast, lunch, dinner and happy hour snack at the lodge are included – The food is an excellent mix of local Mexican and American cuisine
